Harvest Farm is the perfect place to bring your school group or home-school group because we are committed to providing not only entertainment but education as well. We provide three different tour options that are adjusted according to age group.

This tour is the whole farm and more. We give the kids the farm tour with the educational aspects then we have some fun with the cannon. We also will give a talk on how the cannon works and shoot it off. This tour is a great option for older kids because there is a lot of science and math involved in the making of the cannon. Please allow 2-3 hours for this option. The charge is $6.00 per person.
With all educational tours children receive as a gift from us:
Small Pumpkin
Coloring Book
One Cup Animal Food
Optional Extra Charge Activities:
Petting Zoo Food $.25
Cookie and Cider per Person $1.00
Some things to keep in mind...
Paid school sponsors are free with all school groups. All other sponsors are expected to pay the tour fee per person. Sponsors do not receive free pumpkin. If they would like to purchase a pumpkin or any other decorative items they are welcome to do so.
Parents bringing extra siblings are welcome to do so, but there will be a charge for 3 and over. Any children 2 and under are free, but will not receive free pumpkin.
Because Kansas weather can be very unpredictable, we realize there might be times when it doesn't cooperate. We will try to reschedule if it is not possible to have the tour but group will not be required to pay if cancellation because of weather.
You are welcome to bring a lunch with you to the farm and picnic here on the farm. Or if you would like us to provide a lunch, we can provide one for a small fee per child. Let us know if this is an option you would like.
Please have all money prepared ahead of tour. We prefer one check or cash for entire group rather than paying individually. This makes the tours start on time.
We are a farm, so please advise your students and sponsors to wear appropriate shoes and clothing for walking in sometimes muddy and bumpy areas.
We do have live animals on the farm and even though we try our hardest to make everything as clean as possible, there might be some smells that are very country like!
Our #1 goal is to create a place where kids can learn about agriculture and also have fun. With that said, safety is also a primary goal for us and we will ask that you help us by observing any areas that are posted off-limits and obey safety signs that are posted.
